SmartRep GmbH takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We handle your person-specific data strictly confidentially and thereby always observe the statutory data-protection regulations and the specifications of the following data-protection statement.

In principle, it is possible to use our website without your giving any person-specific data.
Automatic Storage in Server Log Files
When our website is called up, the provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files. The following information is automatically transferred to us by your browser:
• the website visitor’s IP address (this is anonymised after 7 days)
• the date and time of day of the visit
• the file that the visitor called up
• the website from which the visitor came
• the operating system of the visitor’s website
• the browser used by the website visitor
An allocation of this data to specific persons is not possible, and we do not add it to other data sources. If, in individual cases, there are indications of illegal use, we reserve the right to check the data subsequently.
Voluntary Disclosure of Personal Data
If you want to subscribe to our newsletter and/or to fill out the contact form, you will be asked about personal data. To the extent that you voluntarily give us person-specific data, such as your name, address or e-mail address, the collection, storage and processing takes place with your consent, which you can revoke at any time. You have the right, at any time, to free information as to your person-specific data stored by us, its origin and any recipients, in the case of your approval to its being passed on, as well as to the purpose of the data processing. You also have a right, at any time, to correct, block or delete this data with us:
– Right of access by the data subject (Art. 15 GDPR),
– Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
– Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten) (Art. 17 GDPR)
– Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
– Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
We encode the data flow between web server and website visitor via SSL with up to 256 bits. We thereby use an SSL certificate with domain validation that is issued by leading certification bodies. Nevertheless, data transfer in the Internet, as when communicating by e-mail, for example, can involve security gaps. We draw your attention to the fact that complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Disclosure of Data in the Contact Form
If you send us an enquiry using the contact form, we store the details given there, including the contact data given by you, in order to be able to process your enquiry and to answer any subsequent questions. It is your own free decision whether or not to give us this data. If you do decide to, it will only be stored and processed for as long as and to the extent that this is necessary for the respective purpose, or until your revocation of the consent. Without your approval, we will not pass on the data to a third party.
Data Details for Newsletter Subscription
To receive the newsletter offered on our website, you can register under www.smartrep.de/aktuelles/newsletter-anmelden. There you can enter the company name, the name of the contact person and an e-mail address in the newsletter request form and tick the desired newsletter reference. Alternatively, you can fill out our contact form and can activate the tick to the newsletter reference there. In both cases, in the course of the “Double-Opt-In” procedure, you will receive an e-mail from us in which we ensure that you are the owner of the given e-mail address and do indeed wish to receive our newsletter. If you confirm your request in this e-mail, you will then receive our newsletter until you cancel it. In this case, we will store your e-mail address and your confirmation e-mail for the purpose of sending the newsletter, and – to help prevent misuse – the time of your registration. To this extent, we collect no further data and will not pass on the data given to a third party.
Newsletter2Go is used as newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is not allowed to sell your data or use it for other purposes than for sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German, certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the Data Protection Basic Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

You can revoke the approval you have given to store your data and to subscribe to the newsletter at any time by making use of the cancellation link in the newsletter, or by making a corresponding request using the given contact data.
On our website some use is made of so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored locally in the temporary memory of your Internet browser to make your use of our website even more efficient.
Cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. In this case, the information is stored as a text file on your terminal device until you delete it.
The cookies used by us contain no viruses and do not harm your terminal device. Data Protection in the Context of YouTube Plug-Ins
Plug-ins of “YouTube” pages are used on the website of SmartRep GmbH. The operator of these pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which belongs to Google Inc. If you call up a page on our website that is furnished with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is made to the YouTube server and the DoubleClick network. The YouTube server is thereby informed about which of our pages you have visited. If, at the same time, you are logged in to your YouTube account, this enables YouTube to allocate your page call-ups to your personal profile. You can prevent this provided that you log out of your YouTube account.
We have embedded YouTube videos in extended data protection mode [“erweiterten Datenschutzmodus”] in our pages. If you click the videos, further data processing procedures are triggered by YouTube on which we, as the operator of the website www.smartrep.de, no longer have any influence. In the YouTube data protection statement, you will find further information about how your data is gathered and used by YouTube. You can find this under https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/
