Since 2014 SmartRep is allowed to adorn itself with the ISO 9001 badge. In 2018, SmartRep was certified to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard, which introduced a standard in quality management at SmartRep. This will increase the transparency of work processes and thus achieve even better customer satisfaction. The ISO certification also brings advantages on the market: It signals to our suppliers and customers that SmartRep has a high standard for processes, products and services, which is regularly checked by external auditors. Rudolf Niebling and Andreas Keller are the managing directors at SmartRep. Their formula for success lies in the enterprise concept: As SmartRep works as distributor we can precisely select our suppliers and so compile an excellent product portfolio. SmartRep selects quite deliberately – our products must be among the top 3 on the world market, is the motto.
The SmartRep GmbH was founded in 2004 by Rudolf Niebling. In 2009 Andreas Keller joined as managing director and together the swabian-hessian Duo pushed the enterprise from five up to 30 members of staff. They installed a close sales and service net: Our headquarters with a huge demo center, where trainings and machine presentations take place, lies in Hanau, near Frankfurt. For also providing our customers in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a quick support SmartRep built a subsidiary in Burgau (Swabia).
